"Granny and the Crow" is an age-old Indian fable.Once upon a time, an elderly woman lived alone and made delicious vadas (Deep fried Indian Snack) to sell. One day, a cunning crow stole a vada and flew away, thinking the woman couldn't follow. In the forest, a fox tricked the crow into singing and stole the vada. The moral is to be cautious and not easily swayed by flattery.
In my version, the crow and the fox are in cahoots, conspiring to deceive the woman and seize the vada for themselves.
