The fetishist’s ultimate wish is to possess and obsess over the object of their desire, whether it be a human itself, part of a human or something inanimate. In this case it is feet that is the fetish. The individual’s face is transformed into a shoe with their mouth opened in supplication, ready to receive the coveted foot. In desiring, the person yearns for the object and seeks to embody their fetish, thus becoming a shoe. It can be seen as being granted their utmost desire because now their sole purpose is to support the foot. In this way, they are being possessed by their desire while simultaneously possessing the object of their desire.
